Following the earthquake that struck 6 cities in Turkiye February 2023, causing widespread devastation and displacement, we stepped up with a donation to aid in relief and recovery efforts.
Continuing its support to those affected by the earthquake that shook 6 provinces in Turkey, Turkish Red Crescent launched the Socioeconomic Strengthening Program within the scope of post-disaster recovery efforts. With the Tradesman Support Project implemented with the program, support was given to tradesmen whose workplaces were damaged in cooperation with the Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen in Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Malatya, Adıyaman, Gaziantep and Osmaniye.
Within the scope of the support program, cash aid was provided to 607 tradesmen who reactivated the workplaces they lost in the earthquake reached 25 million TL in total. The program will continue with the Farmer Support Project.
